November 3, 2026
Veterans Town Hall
All are invited to a gathering for veterans, military family, service members, and allies from the community to ask questions about current issues as well as receive an update on veterans legislative efforts in Minnesota.
Hear from Kristy Janigo, SD37 state senate candidate and veteran advocate; Senator Aric Putnam, SD14 and chair of the Senate Veterans Subcommittee; Mark Legvold, SD58 state senate candidate and military retiree.
The event will take place at the Hamel VFW Post 5903, 19020 Hamel Road, Hamel, Minnesota.
2026 DFL Precinct Caucuses
DFL party caucuses in Senate District 58 will take place in all district precincts. The caucuses will begin at 7:-00 pm at various locations throughout the district. Registration will begin at 6:30 pm or earlier depending on the district. More details will be posted later as they become available.
2026 CD2 Convention
The annual convention of the DFL 2nd Congressional District will be held on May 2, 2026 at a location to be announced at a later time. Check back for more details.

The annual Minnesota DFL Convention will take place May 29-31, 2026 at a location to be named later. Check back for exact times and location at a later date.
Minnesota DFL Primary Election Day
Primary Election Day for the Minnesota DFL Party will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 7:00am-8:00pm at most locations. Find your precinct polling location and a sample ballot on the website of the Minnesota Secretary of State.
General Election Day
General Election Day in Minnesota will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 7:00am-8:00pm. Find your polling location and a sample ballot on the website of the Minnesota Secretary of State.

Northfield Issue Door Knock
We will be knocking doors in Northfield to talk to voters about what issues are on their minds, how we can best advocate for them as we head into the midterms, and whether they'd be interested in joining us by getting involved with the local DFL party. This is not traditional door knocking where we're encouraging people to support a specific candidate, but these conversations are crucial as we start to build capacity for our BLUE WAVE next year!
A brief (~20 min) training is provided and new canvassers will always be paired with someone more experienced, so don't fear if you've never knocked doors before! We also have water, sunscreen, and snacks on hand. Door knocking is typically a 1.5-2 hour commitment.
