DFL Garden Party
Rice County DFL and Scott 58 DFL invite you to a Garden Party at the Ted Suss farm in rural Nerstrand, Minnesota on Monday, September 14 at 5:00pm. Great food, lawn games and live music with Bad Mama.
Meet with and hear from state and national elected leaders and DFL endorsed candidates.
Suggested donation $25 per person/$40 per family. All are welcome, no matter the ability to give.
General Election Day
General Election Day in Minnesota will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 7:00am-8:00pm. Find your polling location and a sample ballot on the website of the Minnesota Secretary of State.

Join us for Cross the Finish Line, an all-day door-knocking marathon where we are hitting the pavement to have those critical, face-to-face conversations that win elections. Every door we knock builds our momentum heading into August, and your energy is exactly what we need to meet our end of month goals.

Minnesota DFL Primary Election Day
Primary Election Day for the Minnesota DFL Party will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 7:00am-8:00pm at most locations. Find your precinct polling location and a sample ballot on the website of the Minnesota Secretary of State.
Dakota County Fair
Volunteer to staff the DFL booth at the Dakota County Fair in Farmington, Minnesota. Mark will be spending some time there during the fair, but times yet aren’t certain. Check back for future updates. The fair is open from August 10-August 16.

Lonsdale Community Days Parade
Join Legvold and the DFL to march in the Lonsdale Community Days Parade on August 8th at 1pm We will begin lining up at 11:30am for the 1pm parade start.
Dress in your Legvold Campaign gear, or in the them of Farm and Labor organizations. Farmer, farm animal, nurse, teacher, construction worker, electrician. Also feel free to make or bring a sign promoting these ideals.
We will provide candy and pencils for the kids and the 1952 Blue Pickup will be accompanying us on the route! Kristi Pursell's team will be joining us as will both organizing units of the Senate District. Thanks to Rice Scott DFL for registering and sponsoring our entry!

Minnesota Farmfest 2026
In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Minnesota Farmfest is going to celebrate the role ag has played throughout America’s history. Attendees can expect a showcase and demonstration of modern farming equipment and a festival environment including special food and drinks. Members of the military are granted free entry to the show.
The annual Farmfest Forums will welcome candidates running in hotly-contested U.S. congressional and Minnesota gubernatorial races. Forums are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 4 and Wednesday, Aug. 5. This year’s Forum is sponsored by the Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation.
Mark Legvold will be at Minnsota Farmfest 2026 all day on August 5. Farmfest takes place in Redwood County Minnesota.

Volunteer to staff the DFL booth at the Rice County Fair in Faribault, Minnesota. Mark will be spending time in the booth as will Kristi Pursell, Minnesota House Representative in District 58A and other Rice County DFL candidates. The Fair runs from July 22 - 26 at the Rice County Fairgrounds in Faribault.
